About Your Impact
I want to personally thank you for your donation to the Church of the Good Shepherd Congregational, UCC. We are honored to be blessed with your generosity. Donations like yours make a big difference in the work our Church is doing both within the Congregation and in the surrounding community. For without these donations, our Church can’t have an impact or influence in our community. With your support, we’re hosting small groups on topics that help people like you. Together, we can make a difference.
Tithing (giving 10% of your income) on a regular basis not only supports the work we do. It doesn’t just support local missions and community growth. It also demonstrates obedience to God by making his work a financial priority in your life.
Because we’re a tax-exempt nonprofit, this donation can be a tax write off. This letter serves as official proof of your donation, so keep it in your records for tax season. At the end of the year, we’ll also send you an annual statement documenting your generosity to the Church.

Church of the Good Shepherd is a member of the United Church of Christ, and a portion of gifts help the Special Mission Offerings. These gifts sponsor vital ministries that bring hope to people in the U.S. and around the world. Our church has identified four areas where critical human needs exist:
In places lacking health and educational resources and/or where disaster has struck within systems of injustice which oppress daily life and opportunity
in the lives of church leaders without sufficient resources to live with dignity
in the nurture of youth and congregations just beginning their lives of faith.
